Shannon i can pronise you that you will be dearly missed. I haven`t seen you in a long time but i do know you are a good woman and you went way too young. You have so many family and friends who are just stunned to see such a beautiful young lady pass away before she really gets to experience all the great things god has set for the world. To me it seems that gods plan all along was to have Shannon Debaun pass away on May 30, 2011…. I am still in wow wondering what happened.. Noone has told me what happened but i still am going to miss you and one day i will see you again! Just remember that we can hold it down, down here, so rest in peace! love you!!!

Jared and family–I’ve worked with Shannon at IDEM for many years. She was a hard worker and a proud mama. Jared, her face would light up when she talked about you, and you could just tell how proud she was to be your mom. Shannon will be missed by us all.

The news of hearing of Shannon’s untimely and unexpected passing has created a quiet here on the 11th floor of IDEM.
All that knew her and worked with her in their own ways absorbing the news and remembering Shannon as a dedicated, hard working fellow employee, as a mom who beamed when you asked her about her son Jared and as one that would always be willing to help when asked.
Shannon is, we know, in a special place and at peace.

Jeanne, Kent and Jared. I have known Shannon for a long time. Her and Nicole are like daughters to me. I have heard their ups, downs and their all arounds. I will miss Shannon’s smile and laughter. I ache from the loss of dear Shannon. I’ll not forget her pretty smile and sweet voice. I’ll always remember her acts and words of kindness and comfort when I needed it most at a low point in my life. She was caring to me as I was to her. There was a time when she and I laughed together. And laugh and laugh and laugh. She could be hilarious. I also knew the gentle, sweet side of Shannon. I thank God for the time we had together. I loved you, Shannon.
